Limestone Coast Technical College

Stuckey Electrical Contractors proudly completed the electrical, data and security services for the Limestone Coast Technical College, delivered by Kennett Builders and ready for the start of Term 1, 2026. Construction commenced in late 2024, with the project delivered on schedule to support the first student intake for the 2026 school year.

Designed by architects Russell & Yelland, the facility features a distinctive superstructure of locally sourced CLT and GLT timber, complemented by local limestone block cladding and exposed ceilings that showcase the building’s structural “bones” in keeping with its technical training purpose. The extensive use of exposed services throughout the building provided an excellent opportunity for Stuckey’s team to demonstrate precision workmanship and high-quality installation standards.

Key project features included a Systimax structured network system, design and installation of C-Bus lighting control and a 55kW solar system to support energy efficiency and long-term operational performance. Throughout the project, Stuckey Electrical Contractors worked closely with trades from Adelaide and other locally owned specialist trades, including security specialists Country Wide Security and data and communications professionals Green Triangle Electronics, ensuring a coordinated and high-quality outcome.

The college supports Years 10–12 students undertaking industry training. Serving both public and private school students across the Limestone Coast region, the facility also includes short-stay accommodation for up to 44 students at a time — delivering a valuable, future-focused education asset for the local community.
